Water expands 8.7% when it freezes, we have 1g of water with a volume of 1 cm^3 I need to know the change in volume. Would this be 0.087 ml? Or does this need to be set up differently? Now, how do I estimate the delta(PV) energy of melting 1 gram of ice? 1 atm = 101.3 kPa 1 Pa = 1 N/m^2 = 1 J/m^3 Thanks so much.

nope, your work is right :). For work, assuming that it's standard pressure, you can use 1.01 x 10^5, multiply that by 0.087 (convert to meters cubed). Then you're done :)
