If the slope is a positive, and the y-intercept is 75. How many total miles will the bus have on it at the end of the route?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty sure that's not the complete problem.

@IAmSinged ok so let me try and explain how i have the assignment.. i have the page in four parts... top left is the "graph" which i sent you the question... top right i have the place to write the "equation", bottom left i have to write it in "sentences" and bottom left i have the table which would be X | Substitude values of | Y miles | (hours) | X into the equation | | 0 | | | 1 | | | 2 | | | 3 | | | 4 | | |

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so, this is the assignment..

OpenStudy (mathmale):

OK. Now, assuming that the slope is 30 miles/day and the y-intercept is 75 miles, just substitite x=0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... and calculate how many miles will be on the bus after those 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh this is more understandable >,<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, so i would do the same thing, just substitute the 'x' on each on the tablee!!! Thank youuuu so muchh

If you post other questions here on OpenStudy and no one answers, be sure to "tag" me. You know how to do that, don't you? In what country are you located?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Signing off OpenStudy and off the 'Net, right now. Hope to work with you again!
