Would you get an email from OpenStudy if your question was deleted by a moderator?
I just wanted to know because my question was deleted for a minor reason, but I feel that it's right for OpenStudy to let you know for sure if your question was deleted. After all, mine was deleted for a much minor reason then I see many, and that is not an excuse, it's just that it was deleted so fast, and it seems like OpenStudy or the moderator that did the deleting should give you a reason. I know it was off topic, but I see much worse things happen then a slightly off topic post at 2:00 in the morning.
I definitely agree. I think that the moderators should give you a notice in your messages giving at least a few words (such as: Your question was off topic or something). That would definitely make the site less confusing. I don't know if they give you an email but they do send me emails for just about everything that happens. So, I'm guessing that they will send you something with the title like "A moderator has deleted your question on Open Study." I'm not saying that it will happen but it will most likely happen. But still I definitely agree that they should focus on the more important issues on the site.
