y=x covert from rectangular form to polar form. Solve for r.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

what did you attempt as a solution to this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i coverted y=x to rsin theta = rcos theta then i divided over the cos theta i had rsin(theta)/cos(theta)=r sin/cos=tan, so i ended up with rtan(theta)=r i then divided r over to get tan(theta)=1 and that is what i think the answer is

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

your answer is perfectly correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thanks for the fourth time!

OpenStudy (asnaseer):
