It would be helpful that you translate the diagram over here! Otherwise the orientation and labeling of the equal legs is hard to determine! I can do my best to assume that BAC = 40 is the vertex angle. |dw:1399831007593:dw| First we need to find the measure of angle a. Then we can use the central angle theorem to work out what the central angle is that intercepts arc AC. From there the measure of the arc is the same as the central angle intercepting it!
