Their was a massive transfer of gold and silver from the Americas to Spain. Spain was part of the Hapsburg dynasty of European Kings. The plundered gold a riches didn't stay in Spain. It flowed to Austria/Hungary and diverse other European kingdoms of the Hapsburg family.
