One week each March, Miami transforms itself into a traditional Latin street festival. Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) becomes the scene of Carnaval as over a million spectators gather to celebrate in the city’s largest annual party. If you’d like to join the fun, the 2014 festival begins on February 8th with the Miss Carnival Miami competition and continues through the grand finale on Sunday March 9th with the Calle Ocho block party. http://miami.about.com/od/artsandentertainment/a/carnaval.htm
