Which set of points are on the line y=2x-3?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Greg: Please post the points that were given (the four possible answer choices). Thx

(0,-3)(-1,2) (0,-3)(2,1) (-3,0)(1,2) (-3,0)(2,1)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Look at the first set of points: (0,-3) and (-1,2). The x-coordinate of the first point is 0. Substitute that into your equation, y=2x-3. Does this equation give you y=-3 when x=0? If yes, great. Check the next point (-1,2) in the same way. If YES to both, then that set of points satisfies the given equation y=2x-3.

Thank you!
