What is the y-intercept of the line? y = -3x A. -3 B. 0 C. 1 D. 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+b where b represents the y - intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, I'm aware. But is y=-3x in the slope intercept form (y=mx+b)? I'm probably making this a lot harder than it is, but I am really confused. What would be considered the b, or y intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b = 0 in your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-3x+0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ugh, duh. Thank you.
