Hi! @tiola ! WELCOME TO OPEN STUDY! Viruses are neither prokaryotes or eukaryotes ..In fact they are not even considered as living things.:) Viruses are not considered living things because they do not preform all the functions of life. Here are the differences of a Virus: 1) They are very small in size 2) They depend on their host for their survival 3) They cannot have their own metabolism but a prokaryote or a eukaryote can do so..:)
