The main advantage of sending partially killed or weak disease causing pathogen into the body is to make the body recognise with the pathogen and so the next time when this pathogen attacks again, the body will be able to attack it in full power..:) And..if we send the whole organism instead of making it weak or 'half killing' it, the pathogen will make the disease much more worse..:) This makes viruses very handy in our daily life..:)
