If f(c)=0, then which is true? A. the point (0,c) lies on the graph of f(x) B. the point (-c,0) lies on the graph of f(x) C.x-c is a factor of f(x) D.x+x divides evenly into f(x)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well what you have is the fact that when x = c the value of f(x) is zero. which means that x = c is a zero of the function which also means (x - c) is a factor. hope it helps
