differences and similarities between xrays and radio rays

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, they're both electromagnetic rays and can be generated by excited materials, but the similarities stop there. X-rays have more energy than radio waves as a result of having a higher frequency/shorter wavelength. X-rays don't penetrate materials as well as radio waves because of their shorter wavelength. Optically, x-rays can be used to image and resolve smaller structures than radio waves.
