Solve and graph the absolute value inequality: |2x + 1| ≤ 5. Please help? Medal will be given to best answer<3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|2x + 1| < or equal to 5 , we use here |a| < or equal to b then -b < or equal to a< or equal to b so we can write |2x + 1| < or equal to 5 -5 < or equal to 2x +1 < or equal to 5 , then we subtract 1 from each inequality -5 -1 < or equal to 2x < or equal to 5 -1 so we get -6 < or equal to 2x < or equal to 4 , to get rid of x we have to divide by 2 to each inequality -6/2 < or equal to x < or equal to < 4/2 so the final answer is -3 < or equal to x < or equal to 2

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

So when I'm graphing it, it'll be two open circles right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
