For a girl’s literature course, she has to choose one novel to study from a list of six, one poem from a list of four and one short story from a list of seven. How many different choices does Rachel have?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

6 courses 4 poems 7 short stories she is choosing 1 from each so I would say that \[6 \times 4 \times 7\]is the number of all different choices. Does that make sense ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, that makes sense! Thank you for answering my question & explaining :)

Anytime... I thought I would get suspended, just like previously, when I answered and explain without confusing the asker.
