Which equation can be used to find the perimeter of a regular octagon with sides of length 12 m? A. P = 2(8) + 2(12) B. P = 12 ÷ 8 C. P = 8(12) D. P = 8 + 12
@IsaiahCC100
An octagon has eight sides so which of these equations sums up to 12 divided by 8?
B

What do you mean @IsaiahCC100
The perimeter of a geometric object is the sum of the lengths of each of its sides: P = sn Where s = the length of one side, and n = the number of sides. In this case s = 12 and n = 8 So P = ?
@ChiefArnav
Would it be B
It can't be B because the Perimeter is a "sum".
Oh i am dearly sorry i thought it said to find the length of a side with a 12 perimeter what you need is one that would be 12 times 8 not divided by 8
Thank you for showing me how i was wrong Hero
