Does 6:9 and 9:12 form a proportion ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No

The way I always figure these ones out is if you find out what you need to multiply the 6 by to get 9 (which is 1.5) then all you have to do is multiply the 9 by 1.5 if the 9*1.5 doesn't equal 12 than it doesn't make a proportion

Or just divide each so 6/9 and 9/12 is 0.66 and 0.75 not equal

To very easy ways to solve the problem, thank you @nalu_for_ever
