ok... so the 2 shapes have the same radius r = 9.4 and the cylinder has a height h = 24 you need to find the volume of the hemisphere and cylinder Hemisphere \[V = \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3\] cylinder \[V = \pi r^2h\] so add the 2 volumes together. Surface Area Hemisphere: \[SA = \frac{1}{2} \times 4\pi r^2\] cylinder \[SA = 2\pi r h + \pi r^2\] The cylinder includes the area of the circular bas on which it sits... so substitute you values and calculate away
