OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Can anyone please help meee??? Help asap :< 1. Choose the graph below that represents the following system of inequalities. y greater than or equal to -3x + 1 y greater than or equal to 1 over 2x + 3 (Graphs posted below)

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can graph both those lines if you like, or pick the one that looks like this http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y%3E-3x%2B1%2Cy%3Ex%2F2%2B3

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

It's not really loading for me :< I can't see what it looks like.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

type it in here let me know if this loads https://www.wolframalpha.com/

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

It's loading really slow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure why you have two colors there in any case since it is \(y\geq\) for both of them, it is the stuff on top the very top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in other words A

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Okay. Thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Could you possibly help me with a similar one?? @satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

The graph below represents which system of inequalities? A. y < -2x + 6 y < x + 2 B. y less than or greater to -2x + 6 y less than or greater to x + 2 C. y < 2 over 3x - 2 y > 2x + 2 D.None of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one line is \(y=x+2\) the other is \(y=-2x+6\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since it is all the stuff below, it should be \[y<x+2,y<-2x+6\] but i can check it if you like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, looks good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw not to be picky but there is no such thing as "less than or greater to"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

once again it is A, a surprise, because is it usually C

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Sorry :< i would have been sleeping hours ago if i didnt have to do this stuff Dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it will be over soon enough

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

I feel really bad asking again, but can we do just one more? Then I can do all the rest on my own... I just don't really understand these graphs o -o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure go ahead, don't feel bad when i get sick of them i will let you know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but let me ask a question is it clear how i knew instantly what the equations for those lines were?

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

well... it didnt type up right... DX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol you must be tired no matter, we can still do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't fret, we do it anyway

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

y less than or greater to -2x + 3 y less than or greater to x + 3 y greater than or equal to -2x + 3 y greater than or equal to x + 3 y less than or greater to -3x + 2 y less than or greater to -x + 2 y > -2x + 3 y > x + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one line is \[y=-3x+2\]the other is \[y=-x+2\] and you are taking all the stuff below, so it is \[y\leq -2x+2\\ y\leq -x+2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope that is a choice is it C?

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Possibly? I'm kind of lost on this one completely

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, it is C

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

Okay, im sticking with it C: @satellite73 Thank you so much for your helpp :DD
