A thesis statement is the statement at the end of the introduction paragraph. It states the purpose of the paper. I'm not 100% on this one, but I believe the answer would be A. It's most certainly not B. or D. The outline of a paper is normally written before the first draft, as it is a writing aid for the paper. SO the answer would be D.
