What is the product of a matrix and its inverse? A. 1 B. -1 C. Identity matrix D. Square matrix
you pick first. I know you know.
ok :) its A
.... what the heck
oh, I am sorry you are correct
@Loser66, you could have given the user an example matrix and its inverse to take the product of for demonstration purposes.
@Hero, both 1 and I are answer, what should I do?
because 1 = I , right?
^ @Hero @Loser66 always helps me out and explains this is the first question he don't do that but he always does and will explain if you ask him to
Negative, how can 1 be equal to the identity matrix?
is not that 1 is 1*I ?
yeah you were right it could of been C not 1.
btw @Hero like what @musa19965 said, not all of students here want to know how the stuff works. If they don't want, what should we do? That's why I don't give out the explanation until they ask "How?" or "can you explain?" or "why?" . If they don't want to know, it's perfectly ok to me.
1. According to Wolfram Alpha: http://mathworld.wolfram.com/MatrixInverse.html 2. The purpose of Open Study is to encourage and facilitate 'study' and learning. Keep in mind that when you respond to questions, you're not just responding for a specific user. You're also responding for other users who might look at this same question hours from now, a month from now or a year from now.
@Hero Thanks for reminding me the rule of the site. I am here for free!!
