Why is the Carbon cycle important ?

The carbon cycle is important because it makes up organic matter which is used by plants in their growth. It also leads to the release of atmospheric carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, to make oxygen that maintains animal life.
The accumulation of CO2 in atmosphere may lead tot the green house efect and increase the temperure of earth hence carbon cycle is important to balance the O2 in atmosphere :)
