A toy rocket was launched from the ground. The function f(x) = -16x2 + 128x shows the height of the rocket f(x), in feet, from the ground at time x seconds. What is the axis of symmetry of the graph of f(x) and what does it represent? x = 8; it takes 8 seconds to reach the maximum height and 8 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 4; it takes 4 seconds to reach the maximum height and 4 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 8; it takes 8 seconds to reach the maximum height and 16 seconds to fall back to the ground x = 4, it takes 4 seconds to reach the maximum height and 8 seconds to fall back to the ground

So we just need to find the vertex (the very top point on the parabola) this can be found using the formula \[\large x = -\frac{b}{2a}\] You have the equation of -16x^2 + 128x so for your equation...'a' would be -16 and 'b' would be 128 plug those into your formula up there and solve for the 'x' what do you get?
