to Europe for weapons 4- Fighting in their home turf. Defensive battles mostly. 5- Quality of soldiersSOUTH WEAKNESS1- Not enough population 2- ports blockaded by Union Navy 3- No real industry 4- Lack of funds for war effort. 5- To large a front to defend
