why do we have to know science ?

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Is this a legit question? (Just making sure)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Well if we didnt have science we wouldn't have half the technologies we have today. This includes inovations in medicine, and electronics. Not only that, but we would not be able to understand any part of the universe or world for that matter. Imagine trying to develop a spacecraft to go into... well space without having the science to get you back! Or even the science to build the thing!

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Science, Math, and History are all part of a puzzle. Without one the others just fall apart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank u

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

What made you start this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to just no why we needed it lol xxD

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

We all ask ourselves the same question for every subject especially when your in school! but once you actually ponder over the question you see why they are necesary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much

There are so many branches of science that I could be here all day explaining them to you. Here are a few, Behavioral Science (Psychology), Environmental Science, Nutrition... They are all very important to improve your quality of life, for starters. Learning about the functions of the brain and body can help you not only understand a lot about yourself, but the characteristics of others as well as what factors play a role in people's behavior. Environmental Science you learn thing about not only the environment around you, but other biomes around the world that are different than your own. Also ways in which we can protect our environment and preserve its resources for a longer, more fruitful life for our decendents after us. Nutrition, that's a given. You can never stop learning ways to take care of your body and to prevent illness and disease. Exploring other branches of science will give you a larger perspective. I hope I helped a little...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it did thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are welcome. Should you find an area that interests you about science, you'll have some fun!

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Have fun learning abou science!
