How do you find the difference of a geometric sequence when they only give you the a1 and a(whatever number they choose). Example: What is the 9th term of the geometric sequence where a1= -8 and a6= -8,192?

I know how to get the geometric sum, sequence and can find any term when they give me the first 3 terms. I just don't rememeber what to do when they only give you two terms!
