OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just throw one at me and ill help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need an explanation of area of a circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok one moment :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the exact area of a circle with a radius of 19 m how would I do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the equation is A = π x r x r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where r is radius, or half of the diameter. and π is 3.14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so lets say the diameter is is 10 half of 10 is 5 so the radius is 5 A = π x 5 x 5 A = 3.14 x 5 x 5 now it is just a multiplication problem. to make it simpler, lets change it to A = 3.14(5 x 5) this does not change the outcome. so now the problem is A = 3.14 x 25 which is 78.54 so A = 78.54 do you understand well enough or do you still need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your very welcome :)
