It is A. work = |force| * |distance| * cos(theta) theta is the angle between the force and displacement vectors this is a simpler case because theta = 0, and cos(0) = 1, bc our force is in the same direction as the displacement, upward Patrick's work = | Patricks force to counteract his weight | * | distance ;he applies that force | = (375 N) * (4 m) = 1500 Nm = 1500 J
