How are the cultures in South America like the cultures in Mexico? How are they different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say the various South American cultures are quite unlike that of Mexico. Speaking Spanish is the only REAL connection. Considering each country has its own history, its culture reflects its history.

All of the cultures are part of the cultural bloc known as Latin America. Which is where derived languages such as Spanish, French, And portuguese are commonly used. They also have the religion of Catholic more professed among themselves. Although in difference among Latin America and Mexico lots of different cultures are celebrated within, including food, manners, and just basic views on society.
