I need help with this ONE question! I do not understand. Prove that if two lines intersect, then the vertical angles are congruent using facts that you know about angles on a line. You may draw a picture to help you. DO NOT write a proof with statements and reasons. This should be in paragraph form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If 2 lines intersect than 2 angle pairs must be congruent. If you had 45, 90, 65, 160 we would be dealing with a curve so the 2 angle pairs must have congruent angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah you have 2 lines intersecting so the vertical angles(which I don't know why they are called vertical when they are opposite and not necessarily in the y direction) are congruent. This is fact happens whenever 1 line intersects with another line.

OpenStudy (otonogold):

So that would be my paragraph ?

hint: these two angles are supplementary (ie add to 180 degrees) |dw:1400199530636:dw|
