SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ILL FAN AND OR GIVE YOU A MEDAL!!!! In 3-5 sentences, explain one characteristic of a gothic setting present in The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The gothic setting in the Strange Case of Dr. Jekll and Mr. Hyde is the dark, gloomy setting it is placed in. The detail of the castle/mansion Dr.Jekll/Mr.Hyde sets a gothic and dark picture in your mind. The way the laboratory is described gives out a hint of something from Mary Shelly's "Frankenstein", which is around the idea this story is; dark science. I don't know if this is good or not, but I hope I helped.
