graph linear equation f(x)=-2x+2

-2 is the slope. 2 is the y-intercept. Draw a graph and start at 2 on the y-axis. Draw a negative slope (down and to the right) going down 2 and right 1; this will make a -2 slope.

Alternatiely, you could find an additional point (two points are all you need since this is a straight line). Your first point is (0,2), because this is the y-intercept. You can plug in x=1 and find your y value, which will be zero. So your second point is (1,0). Draw the line connecting these points and extend it across the graph.
