Which is the adverb phrase in the sentence? Beside the creek at the campground, Jeff found tracks of a large bear. A. at the campground B. Beside the creek C. of a large bear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is tough since one job of adverb phrases is describing where, and both A and B do that in my opinion, but my best guess would be B, because I feel like A describes B. Sorry I can't say for sure- that's a tough one!

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, good luck, I think you got it! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm almost sure it's B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, because "at the creek" describes where in the campground the bear was found. Hooray for teamwork:)
