Write the equation of the given line in standard form (-4,-1) (1 1/2, 2) –11x + 6y = –13 –6x +11y = 13 –6x + 11y = –13 –6x + 7y = –17

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

For one thing you do recognize that the information given: (-4,-1) (1 1/2, 2) is not the equation of a line, right @Lena4201 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea whatsoever.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

These are called coordinates of points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok well I know that yes.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

So they mark places on the coordinate plane that a line can be drawn through.
