Can someone help me with my study guide? Two different scientists were studying the carbon levels of the air above a large city. They both found that the levels had increased by an average of 8% in the past decade. Scientist 1 concluded that the increase was a result of the increasing population of the city. Scientist 2 concluded that the increase was a result of an active volcano several miles from the city.

A. Both scientists' conclusions may be valid. B. Only Scientist 2's conclusion is valid because active volcanoes release a lot of greenhouse gases. C. Only Scientist 1's conclusion is valid because an increase in population is proof. D. Neither scientists' conclusions are valid because carbon levels change so much. Next Question

Personally I would say A. Because with more people there are more cars thus more carbon in the air, and you could go and test the amount of carbon being released by the volcano thus making this point also arguable.
