What are the differences between the movie and play Julius Caesar
There are actually a few differences between the movie and the play. The movie changes parts of the text from the play. In the movie Cassius waiting and hearing the conversation that Casca had with someone, then Cassius just comes out and pretends he had just arrived, and he acted like he didn’t know Casca was there but he actually did know. This makes us see Cassius as being less trustworthy then he is in the play. Also in the beggening of the play Flavius (one of the senator)s tells the huge crowed to leave before he and Marbullus were about to have a private conversation as in the movie that does not happen. Flavius just walks up to Marbullus ignoring the crowd and begins to speak to him.
