Thx so much for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u draw the coposit figure please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1400274677171:dw| almost like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the left side of the circle is erased

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like a half cylinder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its a 2d figure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok 1 sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o thank you!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok first find the area of the rectangle L*W

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tht is 240

OpenStudy (anonymous):

keep that in mind u need it in a min now u have to find the area of the circle sine they gave you the diameter (D) use 3.14*D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then i would divide that by two and add thae two and i will get my answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then divid that by 2 because it is half of a circle last add your 2 areas togeather
