Do you need to describe it from any certain work of literature? If not, maybe something like this will work.....Out of the shadows at the edge of the forest emerged the spires of a long forgotten Cathedral, only barely noticeable to the naked eye. People rushed past it without a second glance, never once stopping to remember the great society which gave way to theirs, or the power that lingered still...in the shadow of that great Cathedral, long forgotten and lonely.
