Need help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the Q?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the volume of the composite figure? fifty-six cubic yards sixty-four cubic yards seventy-two cubic yards one hundred twenty cubic yards

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you be able to help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Keeli_Grace ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to break it into groups and calculate all volumes seperatley so on 2 by 2 ccube, and a 2by 2 by 8 and a 4 by 2 by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2 *2*2 cube volume is 8 square cubic yards 2*2*8 =32 and 2*2*4=16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so those are the three shape volumes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

iff you add them it gives you the total i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so when doing it just break it up into so many different rectangles and cubes as needed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I need to add 8 + 32 + 16 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think so do you understand why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so,|dw:1400280046258:dw|
