How would I find one side of a rectangle when I have the area?
Area = Length X Width If you have the length or width, it's really easy.
^ I don't have any other information other than the area.
You could solve for width, but the variable for length would be part of it. You can't solve it otherwise. If area is 1000, (A), width is w, and length is l: w = 1000/l l = 1000/w
I have to find the length, and I've looked through my book and online info (online school), but nothing realign got into how to solve it :/
*really not realign
If we know neigher the length nor the width, then larryboxaplenty's response was the best one: If area is 1000, (that is, A=1000) width is w, and length is l: w = 1000/l or l = 1000/w
Thanks for the help~
