a card is chosen at random from a deck of 52 cars. It is replaced and a second card is chosen. What is the probability that both cards chosen are jacks?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since Jacks make up 1/13 of the total number of cards within a deck, and there IS replacement, that means the possibility of picking a jack each time is 1/13 Since you do this twice, the possibility of it being jacks both times is (1/13)^2 or 1/169 or 00.5917%
