Which word in the sentence is the participle? My grandfather, now in his eighties, uses a walking stick. A. walking B. stick C. uses D. eighties
@cielphantomhives Can you help me again? I think it's A... What do you think?
@Whitemonsterbunny17 ?
@ClarissaMorgenstern ?
I would say D because it's added info. But let me check K?
Okay
It's A For sure! :)
Thanks! :)
I think it is C. because a participle is either the past, present, or future tense of a word. So, he "uses". That is in present tense. Past tense would be "used" future would be "will use".
It's A.
I have another one > http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5376d4b2e4b0e27c4314a8d2
Participle is a verb used as an adjective as well and the rest are not verbs. C maybe but no in the end it is not.
