what is the valu of south pole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

south pole:a place where earth has the lowest value of radius..earth is not completely round..so the value of the radius of earth is not a constant.for its non-roundish shape..the gravity value varies..it is connected with radius of earth.as we know: g=GM/R^2. R= the distance from earths centre to the surface of earth.in the pole areas the R is lowest so gravity is highest..if G (GRAVITATIONAL CONSTANT) and M=mass of earth are constant then g is inversely proportional to the square of R.go from cold place to sunny place..radius changing will take place.even in coastal places.
