Even though you can have them from Google and other sites you can't have them from the deep of various cultures and facts unless you visits the place. So, Will this section be successful to Post about them?

Nice idea. I think it'd be more effective towards its main cause with some modifications. As OpenStudy is mainly a website for help and support along academical lines, it wouldn't be very effective to have a separate 'Knowledge Quest' section. It would be a good idea to post it on the OpenStudy BLOG, because that is one place where people would like to see new entries by users about their cultures and their specific traditions. :)

It's a good idea, but I agree with Akashdeep, it would be a dead section because only a few people would be interested in this. 95% of the users is here for academic study and homework help.

@AkashdeepDeb  @thomaster I applaud that, Also, Since most of them like to chat more than study we should limit the OS chat to a particular extent which slowly turns the users interest to this section Helping them gain knowledge as well as to share their views. Like they are addicted to facebook, soon they will make this section comfortable and an attractive subject in OS itself ! Making whole OS team Proud and Famous !

lol, i din't mean to ban chat i mean, we should limit it for example 

For person with 30SS - chat time should be limited to 5 hours
20SS- limit to 3hours etc...

which help them to have a look at this quest and will start seaching for valuable pics and knowledge related subjects !

@helpme1.2 Yeah, as he said it will only reduce number of OS users as they gonna fight with each other and this could severly affect OS in its Future Growth ! Instead of fights and war why not use the common gift (like nature, culture, religious styles of a particular place etc) given by god to us to show our friends through pictures and help them know more and Gain knowledge ?

Life itself is a big palace of patience , Even if this QUEST doesn't become successful I'm quiet happy because One Day this will be part of OS, as it doesn't affect its growth but only supports it along with the ideas you suggested too.. by then i might have gone to decorate my future like others in this OS !

@helpme1.2 there already is a religion group.

@goformit100 Ideas of users will not be neglected. It's just we don't have time to think about adding more features to the site. There are much bigger problems that have to be dealt with first. We have kept a list with good ideas suggested by the users of OpenStudy. After the exam period the CTO of OS will work on improving the site architecture so it can handle the increase of user influx. When that is done, there will be time for the good stuff ;)
