study a lott:if u dont understand many things..keep on studying..after learning a lot of things. easier things which at first u couldnt understood become easy to understand after learning many related things.and take help from friends.

I agree with that, there's no shortcut, the only way to get good in this subject is to understand the mechanism of the reactions since there's way too many of them.
 You have to be able to find ou what will happen to the reagents without knowing the reactions beforehand.

there really isnt any definite way for every one to remember something in the same exact way. there are many strategies for memorizing something. i suggest trying different things and seeing which one works best for you some people write things they want to remember several times so it gets stuck in their minds. me i repeat things i want to remember over and over in my head until theres no way i can forget it .
