On which parameters can we say that alkenes are more reactive than alkynes in an electrophic addition reaction?

stability of the transition state that is carbocation formed during the reaction in case of alkene stable alkyl carbocation is formed where as in case of alkyne and unstable cinyclic carbocation is formed ;) though the triple bonds in alkynes are weaker compared to the alkenes due to the above fact alkenes are more reactive than the alkynes
