Discussion with one of our Open Study user regarding Mathematics Skills. With respect inviting Miss @shelbygt520 (motto behind is to know how one tackle mathematics, and process it in self MATHEMATICS DEVELOPMENT)

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Ma'am I score very poor marks in Mathematics, What skill to develope. I am unable to point out my strong chapters in Mathematics . is it Arithmetic >

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is their a problem that I could help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so lets get started

mathslover (mathslover):

So Shelbygt520, you're a teacher?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I major in math @mathslover

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @BSwan

mathslover (mathslover):

Okay! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so where would you like me to start @goformit100 awesome sounds like we'll all be able to tackle this together guys @BSwan @mathslover

OpenStudy (goformit100):

I score very poor marks in mathematics I dont feel confident while solving any mathematical problem. I fear of going market as I have to deal with lots and lots of mathematical calculations. Ant this makes me cry.

mathslover (mathslover):

Which grade are you in @goformit100 ?

OpenStudy (goformit100):

I am in 12th grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then lets start with Logarithm and Exponential Questions with Answers and Solutions :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or we can go back to around the end of 11th grade just as kinda a warm up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we can start with trig

OpenStudy (goformit100):

I am asking your mathematics tackling statgies which you can suggest one to develope it.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Study durations, study type, levels including in studies, how to prepare for mathematics, and so on ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so you essentially want me to lay out a Study Plan for you

OpenStudy (goformit100):

I am asking for a study plan only for mathematics in depth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so study durations will vary depending on what exactly you are working on in this case you will have to go with what you feel (does this feel simple to you, in-between, etc.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What I do if it feels simple to me I at the least put in about an hour of studying it at the most I'll put in two hours, If its somewhat in-between I would put in 2.5 to 3 hours If the subject is challenging to you then you should probably put in 4 to 4.5 hours, One thing I would recommend is to take 10 minute breaks (walk around or grab a snack etc.) between each hour of study it helps to keep the blood circulating which believe it or not affects your studying.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Q.- what is the method you best recommend to break up our own syllabus ? Q.-- How to develpe a new concept of a mathematics chapter ? Q.--- How to choose a good reference book of mathematics ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's really helped me with my mathematics reference is a program called Aleks ( http://www.aleks.com) It is engaging and if you work just an hour a day during the summer and you go back to school next year you'll be completely prepared for your class it'll be a piece of cake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To break up your syllabus you should set a goal on what you want to complete for the day (would you like to complete two lessons, 3 etc.) try to make these lessons all in one Topic of math so that you aren't going everywhere and confusing the hell out of yourself excuse my language

OpenStudy (goformit100):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My apologies I have to go eat breakfast real quick I'll be back but here is an example of a concept map this may help

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Sure ma'am, you go and take your breakfast, but come so very soon. We OS users are waiting for your tips and trick. I personally will be online.
