Is it normal to breastfeed a 2 yr old? (Health Question) :)
Yes breastfeeding is exclusively recommended upto first 6 months of life. Afterthat it can be continued upto 2 years of life or beyond alongwith solid food
Even with fully delevoped teeth?
Actually breastfeeding is only extremely useful to the child during the initial stages after birth..Its so because the milk produced by the mother is highly rich in Colostrum i.e IGg which is exceptionally essential for the young one's nutrition. So it is not recommended that breastfeeding should be continued after 8-10 months bcs by that time the child will get the external nutrition 4 its survival..:)
yes @shrehari499 is ryt.
With developing tooth...The mother will get hurt..:) :p Ha ha ha ..:)
WHO reccomends breastfeeding exclusively upto 6 months. But afterthat it can be continued upto 2 years of life (not necessary). Breastfeeding after 1 year of age is considered as extended breastfeeding
My stepmom is breastfeeding my 2 year old little sister, (she purposely knocked herself up) and now wants more children, also lets her 2 year old daughter tell her no. Hmmm... I think shes crazy! LOL :)
