In your thesis statement, you need to say what your essay is going to be about. Try that, then you can juicy it up afterwards.

Ok, but what are the sub topics for your main idea going to be
I. Thesis
1.Subtopic 1
2. Subtopic 2
And so on.......
It is much easier if you organize your paper some way, and this may help. In your thesis you sum up what the reader will find in your paper, which is why you need suptopics. Btw this is 2014, not 2015.
