Quick biology question. Thanks! What is a difference between the lytic and lysogenic cycle? In the lytic cycle the viral DNA incorporates into the host DNA. The lysogenic cycle takes half as much time as the lytic. In the lysogenic cycle the host cell reproduces. In the lytic cycle the host cell reproduces.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

In lysogenic cycle host cells reproduces

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Lytic and lysogenic cycles are the two types of viral reproductive methods. In lysogenic cycle the host cell continues to live and reproduce normally while lytic cycle results into the destruction of host cell and its membrane
